The Martensen Family :: Lake Harriet

Despite dodging road blocks for a race going on by the lakes, we had a lovely morning of taking photos with the Martensen family. Noelle was turning 4, so we created a special photo session for her with a picnic theme. She was so sweet pouring tea for favorite dolls and stuffed dog in the beautiful Lake Harriet rose gardens.

We had a beautiful morning for Keira's 18 month family photos. It's always fun to figure out what will get a child to genuinely smile. For Keira it was seeing other babies. She'd say "baby" while motioning like she was holding a baby and smile really big. It was so cute!

I had never been to Irvine Park before. What a beautiful spot for family photos. We started out with some traditional groupings and ended the session with a few more casual at an adorable gazebo.
