Maggie & Jim Engaged

I was in my Dad's home town of Wells, MN a few weekends ago to attend the annual town Kernel's Days. Infamous for such things as "Cow Plop Bingo", Tractor Pull, Classic Car show & a parade where you end up with more candy than you know what to do with. We were lucky enough to get to meet my cousin's fiancé Jim for the first time as they were visiting from Boston. We decided to do an engagement shoot around Wells. So many neat spots next to old buildings, a Train Depot, brightly painted grain elevators & my Aunt's beautiful flower garden. I'm really looking forward to their Florida wedding in March!! So happy for you Maggie! Congrats!!

Sunday was one of those Minnesota summer days to cherish. So fun taking photos of Libby in her quest to find flowers for her "Gamma". The balloons were something I hadn't tried before. They give such a fun pop of color to the photos.

I have been inspired lately by all the pretty wildflowers growing in some of the field areas of Carver and was thrilled when Jackson got the courage to go adventuring through them!
